Computers have become a tool for education throughout the world. A basic understanding of computer skills aids students in their quest for knowledge. However, many students in the Central Region of Togo do not know how to manipulate a computer. Although computer centers may exist in their schools or towns, many students lack the skills and confidence to access these computers.
Therefore, we propose a chance for some of the best students
in the
region to participate in a camp which will give them the skills to use
a computer keyboard, mouse, word processor, and to do academic research
on the internet.
We are currently seeking a sponsor for this project.
